Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel – Black
Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara- Black Waterproof formula
Tartelette In Bloom Palette
( counts as 1 product right ?) in matte shades although I do love a satin finish on the eyes this is suitable for all skin types and conditions.
Airbase liquid blusher- Peach.
There are other liquids available but this is one I use on most of my clients, as it blends seamlessly into the skin and really does last all day I prefer to use liquids or creams compared to powders as they give a much more natural look on the skin specially if I want more of a summer glow.
Mac Pro longWear Concealer
Gives great coverage but yet still light enough to blend and melt into the skin to achieve the no make makeup look.
My 5 favorite products that can’t be without are Inglot black gel liner this
stuff is incredible and does not budge from the eye and can even be used in the
waterline without it creasing or bunching up in the corners of the eye, but can also be blended until it dries so it is
very versatile and comes in a whole array of colours too the bright colours are
just fab. For a softer eye makeup look I like to apply the liner right to the root of the
top lash line where the lashes naturally grow and do not apply the product along the
entire length of the lash line, I sometimes use the liner on the top water line. If you press your finger gently into the natural crease of the eye and press up this
will help left your lashes so you can apply liner underneath to the top waterline more
easily this will make your lashes appear to have more volume and oomph.
Mascara
Is a
must and I don’t go anywhere without it, it
can really help open out the eye, add volume and length to the lashes,
if you opt for a waterproof formula you
can wear it on the beach or by the pool with no worries of it melting or
looking like KISS.
Eyeshadow
Not
always a necessary step in my summer makeup routine as sometimes mascara and
liner does just enough, but sometimes I like to apply a taupe to a mid-brown
shade eye shadow I particularly like Tarte In Bloom palette for their matte
taupe shades applied with a fluffy crease brush into the natural crease line
and slightly into the outer corner on the eyelid to add definition to the eyes.
Cream/liquid Blusher
This
product is an absolute favourite of mine, specially in the warmer months and is
perfect for mature skin as its blends seamlessly into the skin adding a natural
flush of colour to the cheek and adding definition to the face.
Concealer
A
liquid concealer to help conceal dark circles, use as an eye base, conceal any
blemishes or redness around the nasal fold and chin area. Use a fluffy brush to
apply for a lighter touch or a flat conceal brush and then buff with a fluffy
crease brush to blend into the skin.
Tips
Apply
concealer first and make sure it is blended into the skin well before applying
any other product, using a fluffy crease brush to blend in the shadow will set
your concealer on your eye lid too, whilst producing a softer contour to the
eye. If you opt to use a medium brown
you can also use this to define your brows ensuring you don’t overdo them, the
eye shadow can be wetted down an used as an eyeliner if you are not into black
liner.
The
liquid, cream blusher can be used on the lips and even eyes to add a hint of
colour if needed.
You
can use a finger or a stipple brush and apply to the apples of the cheek and
blend back towards the ears I like to smile or pout when applying my blusher to
ensure I hit the highest point on my face.
I hope you feel inspired and I would love to see your own creations using these 5 simple products or something similar.
