Hi! I'm Heather, a published author, experienced freelance Makeup Artist, and previous BTEC and BA (Hons) lecturer in Media Makeup.
Welcome to Heather Card Makeup. I have always been passionate about makeup—not just for its beauty but for its power to boost confidence and enhance natural features. With over a decade of experience in makeup education as a lecturer and as a published makeup artist, I’ve worked with countless brides to create timeless, radiant looks that last from the first kiss to the last dance.

I wrote "Make Up Your Face" to make professional makeup techniques accessible to everyone. I share my knowledge so that anyone—beginner or beauty enthusiast—can feel confident in their skills.
